(1) PROJECT FORMULATION
DISCOVERY
First, we like to get to know you and your organization. We study your website, follow your social media, and familiarize ourselves with your audience. If you're in the Denver area we welcome a sit down over coffee. If not, we look to the power of the internet for a video chat. We want to get a feel for you, your style, your message, and what you're really looking for. We do our research so as to cover your project in a way that is cohesive, coherent, and compelling.
CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT
After our meeting we go back to our office to talk about you. A lot. We get energized, review our notes, brainstorm, kick around ideas while throwing the frisbee for Lucy, and ultimately come up with a list of practical options for you to approve. Once we decide on the approach together, our producer will craft a more formalized project outline.
OUTLINE + BUDGETING
From that initial converstaion a treatment is delivered, which serves as a detailed outline of the project, describing the timeline and creative approach, listing the final deliverables, and itemizing production costs. This document facilitates the approval process and ensures all involved parties are in agreement with the direction and budget. This is also when a client typically pays a 50% deposit so that we may begin Pre-Production.
