lights, camera, action!

This step is relatively self-explanatory. It's when we get to bring out the equipment and execute what we've been planning. On-site days are the most exhausting and the most exhilarating. The lights are shining, mics are hot, our drone pilot is on the scene, and we're getting goosebumps behind the cameras. These are our favorite days. We smile and laugh a lot. We walk really fast, shuttle loads of equipment, drink gallons of water and coffee, and sleep well when we're done. Once we wrap, it's time for our editors to get creative.
